Martin Sheikhan BSc
If there is ONE word that describes Martin Sheikhan, the word is a 'GEM' in the Real Estate profession. My husband and I met Martin by chance at an 'open house', a total stranger who immediately gave us solid advice and prevented us from making a poor decision that might have hurt us in our late life.
Background
Martin holds degrees in science and biochemistry. He began his career as a chemist in pharmaceutical formulation, working on solid dosage forms and controlled-release technologies, and managed formulation, analytical and clinical-trial projects.
He moved into technical project management and became a divisional project manager and registered project office manager, reporting to senior leadership. In that role he built custom scheduling tools for complex pharmaceutical timelines.
More than sixteen years ago he followed his interest in real estate and became a broker. He is now Broker of Record of the family-owned brokerage. His son, Daniel, a lawyer, works alongside him as a broker. His daughter, Sara, is a registered salesperson and is studying medicine.
The family has chosen to keep the brokerage small and family-run, so that the principals stay hands-on and the quality of the work is protected. The work rests on integrity, attention to detail and long-term relationships.
